New Art for my Show the end of this summer.

I have started working toward the solo show I am planning. I love working large and I have started a couple new pieces. I seem to be drawn to this particular composition. This is the first layer.

Born an artist, or encouraged into it?

From the beginning, as soon as I could hold a brush, pencil, or crayon, my mother made sure I had opportunities to make art, and my father always made sure we had plenty of art supplies. But would I have developed as an artist had those opportunities not been present? What do you think?

    Not sure

    Not sure

Here an update o”f my “Go with the Flow” painting, which does not feel like “Go with the Flow” anymore. What does it feel like now? I added more paint using some of the freeing techniques I learned from Betty Franks in her online class! Thank you Betty!

    “Wildflower Meadow” painting, 16″x20″ finished

I started this painting last year when my daughter Melanie was visiting and working on her painting using torn paper and acrylic paint. I decided to give it a try and after that day I had gotten this far … see below. So when our guest artist for March, at Lunaria, decided to cancel, we…
