Cheryl heard some bumping around in the barn and looked over her loft edge to see what was going on.  Honey and BaeBee were where they belonged in their stalls, but Cheryl couldn’t see Mairsiedotes anywhere.

Upon further investigation, this is what Cheryl saw:

Mairsiedotes had managed to lay down with her head under the stall wall.  We can only guess she was looking to sneak some of Honey’s hay . . . or was she just lonely???

Once Cheryl caught her in the act of . . . whatever she was doing, Mairsiedotes scrambled back to her own side of the wall.

“Who me?  I wasn’t doin’ nothin’,” one could almost hear Mairsiedotes say.

I guess I’m going to have to add another board to the bottom of that wall before someone gets themselves stuck again!

Getting cast, or stuck with a hoof could happen easily.
But what a cutie peeking out under that board though! 😘

      Thanks for the comment!
Yes, she did got caught several weeks ago, she was laying down and had her two front legs completely under the wall. Not sure quite what she was trying to accomplish. Thought she had just rolled and gotten stuck, but after these antics with her head under, I have to wonder if she was trying to sneak under the wall to her neighbors stall! I’ll have to lower that wall with another board I suppose. Like your site. Would like to have an indoor arena like that.

Yep, I bet she was trying to fit in with her belly under there 🙂

Glad to hear you like my site – thank you Michele! And yes, it is a wonderful arena.

Do you board your horse where the arena is? Here in Oregon so much of the year is wet and muddy, a covered arena would be most helpful.
Fun to hear you are from Sweden. My mother’s mother came from Sweden when she was 8 years old. I would like to visit there someday.

You should definitely go! Just make sure it is in the summer 🙂 great place to visit and so much to see.

Yes I couldn’t keep my horse where the arena in the latest post is. I would imagine Oregon riding really calls for a covered… lots of rain! 🙂
